Picking the right GPU for your build is just as important as picking the right CPU, without a good balance between them there will be what’s known as a “bottleneck” which will cause either the GPU or the CPU to never be able to output 100% of its performance because either the CPU or the GPU is too weak, that’s why picking the best GPU For I9 11900K is so important.
If your GPU is weaker than your I9 11900KF, you will essentially be throwing away money because you’ve bought one of the top-performing CPUs and yet it will never be able to work at 100%, essentially you could’ve just bought a cheaper one and the performance would have been the same.
With that said, we will give you several good options to pick from depending on your budget.
Why should you trust our reviews/opinions?
Here at TechReviewTeam, we test every single GPU before writing a detailed review on them. Unlike other websites, we don’t simply write reviews on products we’ve never tested, while others write reviews based on “theoretical performance” that the product SELLER ADVERTISES, we actually take our time to test the product we talk about & share the knowledge with you.
Top 6 Best GPU For I9 11900K
GPU | Our Opinion | Check Price |
---|---|---|
RTX 3090 | Best GPUin the market along with the best FPS / Price ratio. | |
EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 | 2nd strongest GPU in the market right now, great pick for the I9 11900KF | |
RTX 3070 | About 10% better than the 3060 TI according to our tests. | |
RTX 3060 TI | About 20% better than the 3060, we would 100% say this has to be the Best budget GPU. Cheap and high performance. | |
Radeon RX 6900 XT | Good GPU, no bottleneck & will last u for a good while | |
RTX 3060 | Cheapest GPU we would recommend, anything less than this and it's too old / far weaker / not worth the investment. |
All of those 6 are solid choices, some more than others, however, that’s what we will explain right now when which, and why you should pick either one of them, along with some extra good GPUs that we will talk about below.
I’m sure there’s no surprise in our first option being the NVIDIA RTX 3090. Nvidia has been the Graphics Card Market leader for many years and it seems like the trend will continue.
The 3090 is an extremely powerful card that will ensure your system runs at 100% at all times without any problems.
You can expect to run even the most FPS demanding games just fine with the I9 11900KF + RTX 3090 combo.
Features:
- The real boost clock is 1800 MHz, and the memory detail is 24576 MB GDDR6X.
- In-game real-time ray tracing and cutting-edge, hyper-realistic graphics.
- Triple HDB fans along with nine iCX3 thermal sensors have superior cooling efficiency while producing significantly less acoustic noise.
- All-metal backplate, customizable ARGB, 3-year warranty, and EVGA’s world-class technical assistance.
The RTX 3080, is essentially a 3090 but just slightly weaker & cheaper. Although we say weaker, it’s not that it’s weak, it’s still a monster Graphics Card that will last you years upon years without ever needing to either upgrade or overclock it to keep up with gaming demands.
If the 3090 is out of your budget, we suggest you give the 3080 a look as it will leave you 100% satisfied.
Features:
- The real boost clock is 1800 MHz, and the memory detail is 10240 MB GDDR6X.
- In-game real-time ray tracing and cutting-edge, hyper-realistic graphics.
- Triple HDB fans have superior cooling efficiency while producing far less acoustic noise.
- All-metal backplate, customizable ARGB, 3-year warranty, and EVGA’s world-class technical assistance.
This Graphics Card is an absolute monster, as you can tell by its price. Obviously, this won’t be for everyone due to its price tag, however, you must keep in mind that you decided to buy an I9 11900KF so no matter which GPU you pick, it will always be relatively expensive unless you want to have an extreme bottleneck.
With this GPU you won’t be needing to upgrade your system anytime soon and we can ensure you have no bottleneck issues and your system will be able to run at 100% of its potential, and that’s what we call well-spent money!
Features:
- Game Clock: Up to 2050 MHz
- Boost Clock: Up to 2285 MHz
- External RGB LED Synchronization
- Video Streaming up to 8K
- High Performance 4K Gaming
If you’re tight on money and can’t afford any of the other options, then the RTX 3070 should be the bare minimum for you, you should never go for a Graphics Card cheaper than the RTX 3070 if you have an I9 11900KF. Even the 3070 will have some minor bottleneck with that CPU so any cheaper GPU will just be a waste of money to have bought such a powerful CPU.
With this said the 3070 is still a decent GPU for its price tag, although not quite as powerful as the other ones it still gets the job done.

Should I overclock my GPU?
If you bought an RTX 3070,3080 or 3090 you will not need to. However, if you bought a Graphics Card weaker than those 3, they will be too weak for your I9 11900F and you will still have a 5-10% bottleneck simply because your CPU is that strong.
In that case, you should definitely consider overclocking your GPU to get some extra performance out of it and be able to match the I9 11900F without any bottleneck.
